Dr. Gregory Shields
Dr. Gregory Shields is a dedicated educational leader, consultant, and minister committed to fostering academic excellence and community growth. With over eight years in administration, he has led strategic initiatives to enhance instruction, increase student achievement, and build strong school-community partnerships, particularly in high-needs schools.
Beyond education, Dr. Shields is the founder of Leadership FocusED, an educational leadership consulting business guiding future educators and leaders. He is also a youth pastor, passionate about mentoring and empowering young people in their faith and personal development. His leadership philosophy centers on collaboration, excellence, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Kristi Juneau
Kristi Juneau brings over 20 years of accounting expertise to our nonprofit organization. Based in Athens, Georgia, Kristi is a Certified Public Accountant who has dedicated her career to building lasting relationships while serving individuals and small businesses across various industries.
Kristi earned her BBA in Accounting from the University of Georgia and a Masters in Accounting from Auburn University. She spent the first 13 years of her career with local firms in Athens, including Trinity Accounting Group and Turner and Patat. During this time, Kristi gained invaluable experience building extensive tax and accounting knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and networking with local professionals.
Balancing her professional and personal life is a priority for Kristi. As a wife and mother of two, she found her niche at Amy Northard CPA, a virtual accounting firm, which inspired her to start her own practice in 2021. Kristi's firm is built on the values of communication, integrity, quality, success, and empathy.
Kristi is committed to exceeding expectations and delivering exceptional service, making her a valuable asset to our board and the community.

Tamera Tillman
My name is Tamera Tillman and I am an elementary school educator in the Clarke County School District. This is my sixth year in education, during which time I have taught 1st grade for four years, and am currently in her second year of teaching 3rd grade. I graduated from Kennesaw State University, receiving my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in May of 2019. I am pursuing a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Kennesaw State University. I have a Reading and Gifted endorsement and will have an ESOL endorsement upon receiving my master’s degree.
I love to serve in any capacity. I spend my time serving my students in the classroom, volunteering, and serving around my school to help others. I serve as a reading specialist after school to tutor students who need extra help. Serving with Worthy in God is important because I am deeply rooted in serving the. Worthy in God’s principles and core values are values that I believe to be true in my life. Psalm 46:5 says, “God is within her, she will not fall.” This scripture is about how the woman is strong, brave, and resilient. I think Worthy in God is a great testament to that.

Tyrique Dunn, a proud native of Athens, Georgia, has dedicated his life to serving youth and strengthening communities. A 2021 graduate of Winston-Salem State University, Tyrique earned his bachelor’s degree while serving as a scholarship percussionist in the renowned Red Sea of Sound Marching Band. He continued his academic journey by earning a Master of Sport Management from the University of Kansas in 2023.
Tyrique’s passion for youth development began at an early age and has shaped every stage of his professional career. Throughout his journey, he has led initiatives focused on mentorship, education, violence prevention, and community engagement. Most notably, he led the Delinquency Prevention Initiatives in Athens-Clarke County, bringing together schools, nonprofits, law enforcement, local government, and community organizations to address the root causes of youth delinquency. Through strategic partnerships and innovative programming, he helped expand access to educational opportunities, family resources, workforce development, and positive youth engagement, making a lasting impact on thousands of young people and families throughout the community.
Today, Tyrique serves as a Program Manager, where he oversees youth-focused programs that empower young people through education, service, and leadership development. His work centers on creating meaningful opportunities for youth to succeed while strengthening the communities they serve.
Whether leading community initiatives, mentoring the next generation, or serving in nonprofit leadership, Tyrique remains committed to making a lasting difference through service, collaboration, and purpose-driven leadership.
